Draw Them in and Make the SaleThe overall design and feel for any site will depend very much on the subject matter or service being provided. For example, a site offering business services should portray a professional image, and it would look out of place with an overly outlandish design or font. Similarly a site offering Barcelona apartments and accommodation , should appeal to the target audience. The type of person visiting the site should firstly be interested in Barcelona and what the city has to offer, so any tourist information or city guides should catch the visitor's interest, and make that person want to explore the site further. However, that is not enough. We need to take it one step further so that the visitor actually wants to book his or her accommodation on that site. Visiting your site does not make you money, bookings do! One of the key rules for all business, whether internet or office-based, is, you must make it easy for the customer to do business with you. Try and make the whole booking experience seamless and problem free. Try to provide as much on-line as you can such as on-line availability, prices and descriptions of the apartments. Even better, google map it onto the site, and provide 360 degree photos - let the potential client see what you have to offer them. |
